TECNARGILLA 2008 – CLAYTECH section

Tecnofiliere renewed its participation at CLAYTECH 2008, the TECNARGILLA section devoted to brick industry suppliers.

TECNARGILLA 2008 held in Rimini from 30 September to 4 October and hosted 700 exhibitors, one third of which, were foreign companies.

CLAYTECH confirmed its role as an important meeting point for technology suppliers and buyers from all over the world. It also underscored the vitality of a sector that has proved dynamic in spite of the current downswing in the construction industry.

IMPORTANT TECNOFILIERE SUPPLY IN INDIA
Following the huge economic growth that is characterizing India during the past years, an important rise in the demand for construction materials has developed, especially in bricks. This opportunity has forced Wienerberger, a prestigious Austrian group and European leader in the production of brick materials, to plan a large program of investments which foresees the construction of ten production plants within the next five years in India.

TECNOFILIERE has supplied all the extrusion plant.

LOAD-BEARING MASONRY BLOCK WITH A HIGH THERMAL INSULATION
Tecnofiliere was asked to design and develop a load-bearing masonry block with a high thermal insulation coefficient that fully meets the requirements of Ministerial Decree 20/11/1987 including percentage of cavities 45%, internal walls of thickness no lower than 0.8 cm, minimum distance between holes and external edge no smaller than 1 cm.

THE NEW GRAL FACILITY
The new GRAL factory is located at the estreme northern edge of the municipality of Alfonsine (province of Ravenna, Italy), almost on the border with the province of Ferrara. It was constructed by the Clay Products Division of UNIECO in collaboration with IBL. The plant features state-of-the-art technology and constitutes one of the most substantial investments to have been made recently in the Italian heavy clay sector.

All the extrusion equipment on the extruders was supplied by TECNOFILIERE, which has once again confirmed its ability to offer technological solutions that fully satisfy the sector’s most advanced requirements.

The high technological level of Italian products in the ceramic industry has been definitely increased in value during the past years and has allowed the industries of our sector to position themselves at the highest level among worldwide producers.

Globalisation has hugely influenced the spreading of the “Made in Italy” products, it’s enough to think about the market explosion that has been had in the ex-USSR countries, in India and in China.

The same participation of the Italian companies in fair events and the easier communication in the various parts of the world thanks to internet have caused the elimination of geographic barriers, with the different worlds being consequently closer.

TECNOFILIERE FOR GRAL
The Brick Division of UNIECO, an important industrial group organized in the form of a cooperative society founded in 1904 and IBL, a historic company part of the Dafin Group, have created in Alfonsine, in the province of Ravenna, a new large production plant called GRAL.

The new and modern plant will produce a wide range of wall, ceiling and hollow blocks. The forming of all the products will take place using extrusion systems supplied by TECNOFILIERE, a supply that is made up of 16 dies model “CF2 Evolution” equipped with six mouths and a die-washing machine.
