TECNOFILIERE SUPPLIES EQUIPMENT TO CERAMICA IASI
Ceramica Iasi, a Romanian group specialising in the production of masonry materials and roof tiles, has begun construction of a new line for the production of blocks and partitions at Iasi, capital of Romanian Moldavia.
TECNOFILIERE will supply the set of dies for block and partition extrusion and three pressure heads equipped with external braking system, which will be mounted on an extruder. The supply package will also include marking rollers and the innovative TF1000 EVO model die washing machine.
FORNACI DI MASSERANO AND HEAT INSULATION
One of the few companies in Italy not to be adversely affected by the Decree Law 192/2005 was Fornaci di Masserano Bruno Tarello, a dynamic Piedmont-based company that had had the foresight to introduce its TRIS series load bearing wall blocks onto the market as early as 1994, followed in March 2009 by the new infill block line designed to meet the requirements of the new technical standards on seismic design.
For the shaping of its products, Fornaci di Masserano has chosen extrusion equipment supplied by TECNOFILIERE, which allow for excellent use and flexibility in terms of the geometries that will become necessary over the coming years. TECNOFILIERE dies are much simpler to calibrate due to the external braking system. Furthermore, the slower movement of the clay allows for greater re-compaction subsequent to cutting and reduces overall wear on the die.
DOUBLE-EXIT EXTRUSION DIE FOR THERMAL BLOCK 300X250 mm
Tecnofiliere, a well-established manufacturer of extrusion equipment, has built a die for double-exit extrusion of a thermal block of dimensions 300x250 mm in accordance with the new European standards on energy certification of buildings for the Romanian company Ceramica Iasi.
Using its dedicated software, TECNOFILIERE helped the company in the delicated stage of determining the block geometry by calculating experimentally the value of the heat conductivity index lambda, an essential parameter along with thermal resistance for determining the value of the transmission factor U. At a technical level, the die also has innovative and cutting-edge characteristics.

MosBuild 2009, Russia’s most important trade event devoted to the building industry, held in Moscow, from 31 March to 3 April.
Tecnofiliere took part in the TECHNOCERAMICA section, devoted to machinery and technologies for the ceramic industry.

Tecnofiliere took part in BATIMATEC 2009, the international trade fair for construction, building materials and public works, which took place in Algiers, from 13 to 17 March.
Tecnofiliere was glad to welcome the trade fair visitors at its exhibition stand.
The great experience of Tecnofiliere in designing and producing automatic die-washing machines, has brought to the development of the new model TF1000 EVO, which faces first of all the demand of washing bigger and bigger dies.
The washing action, fully automatic, takes place through the combined and targeted action of a series of nozzles, which, playing high pressure water jets (180 bar) directly on the die, ensures its complete cleaning.
Waste water is lead to a settling tank, which is easily removable and can be emptied into the quarry.
The cleaning time can be set according to the individual requirements of each type of die, to ensure an optimal cleaning cycle.
The opening cover, produced with advanced materials and design, has been provided with a tempered glass in his front, to enable the operator to check the washing process.
As usual, a special attention has been paid to improve the control, safety and maintenance devices, ensuring an optimal and reliable operation of the machine and reducing downtime and servicing to the bare minimum.
