KOTHALI GROUP, A STRATEGIC PARTNER FOR EASTERN EUROPE
The object of the Group is to become the strategic partner for the heavy clay sector for the whole of Eastern Europe. It is pursuing this goal through investments aimed at improving product quality, an example of this is the K.E.B.E. plant, a recently built facility. TECNOFILIERE was crucial for obtaining high-quality products in the extrusion process.
“The design details of the extruder die and the materials used for its construction are crucial. We are fully satisfied with the support provided by TECNOFILIERE during both design and after-sales, which included a rapid response and visits to our facilities. The company owner, Paolo Pedrielli, worked personally on our project and proposed intelligent solutions for the various aspects of the extrusion process”.

MULTI-EXIT DIE FOR EXTRUSION OF ELEMENTS FOR CHIMNEYS, DESIGNED BY TECNOFILIERE
Manufacturers of extrusion equipment have to be able to adapt to the needs of their customers, who face ever new problems and can almost never make do with standard solutions. The sector faces constant and numerous technological challenges that concern both the design of new articles in accordante with new standards and the creation of products with special geometries.
This latter is the case of TECNOFILIERE, that has been commissioned to design and manufacture a multi-exit die for extrusion of elements for chimneys, articles which have to satisfy numerous parameters due to radical changes that have taken place in the residential heating sector.

DIE FOR STIFF-EXTRUSION
TECNOFILIERE, the Italian company established in Novi (Modena) in 1995, is specialised in the study, planning and manufacture of every type of dies for the brickworks and ceramics industry.
The technical abilities and notable talent for innovation are the distinguishing marks that enable TECNOFILIERE to meet any client’s requirements. One example to create ad hoc solutions is given by the recent production of a die for stiff-extrusion characterised by the possibility of assembly the pressure head to convey the clay directly onto the cylinder of the extrusion machine.

FORNACI DI MASSERANO
Fornaci di Masserano chose extrusion equipment supplied by TECNOFILIERE for pressing its products, which provide optimal operations and flexibility in relation to the shapes that are called for with the industrial development anticipated for the near future.
The TECNOFILIERE dies, in fact, are easily adjusted, an operation facilitated by the external braking system; moreover, the slower flow of clay provides a better compaction after cutting and allows you to reduce the general wear and tear of dies.
Also, in the start up phase of the new products, TECNOFILIERE supported the Biella company with valuable advice and constant technical assistance at its factory.

THE GRAL PLANT IN FILO D’ARGENTA ENTERS INTO PRODUCTION
The GRAL factory in Filo d’Argenta has started up. The largest Italian production unit on a single production line commissioned from the SACMI Group in Imola by the D’Agostino family and by UNIECO.
We will look at the innovative aspects of the project regarding the drier and the new purification and recuperation system for fumes, which will considerably reduce the consumption of thermal energy.
As far as the moulding of the products is concerned, all the extrusion equipment on the extruders was supplied by TECNOFILIERE.

THE GRAL FACTORY IN FILO DI ALFONSINE (RA)
It derives from a partnership between IBL spa and UNIECO Soc. Coop., important Italian businesses also present in the fair-faced brickwork sector, the new factory for producing high thermal performance bricks for load-bearing walls, infill walls, interior partitions and floor blocks.
The factory, which is owned by the GRAL spa company, was built by SACMI, Heavy Clay Division, according to the most modern and innovative design criteria for systems producing brick material.
The design and manufacturing of the dies was carried out by TECNOFILIERE.
