Tecnargilla, the leading international trade fair for suppliers to the ceramics and brick industry, held in Rimini from 27 September to 1 October.
Tecnofiliere renewed its participation at Claytech 2010, the Tecnargilla section devoted to brick industry suppliers.
Considerably positive outcome for Tecnofiliere at theTecnargilla 2010: they had a large number of international visitors at their stand and made new and highly-qualified contacts with potential business partners. The trade fair was also the perfect platform to meet their existing international customers and fortify the business relations with them.

TECNOFILIERE SUPPLIES EXTRUDER DIE TO CEPRANO COPERTURE
Tecnofiliere, has developed a new high-flexibility 3-exit extruder die for bent tiles. The innovative system was recently installed at the factory of Ceprano Coperture, a company that specialises in the production of terracotta elements for discontinous roofing.
This new solution allows for a considerable increase in hourly production capacity together with a high product quality standard and a significant reduction in specific energy consumption.

Creation of a pilot laboratory extrusion system calls for the utmost attention in relation to the design of the process dynamics, control of clay body rheology, and the tribological and anticorrosion properties of the materials utilised for construction of the processing system.
For the purposes of laboratory testing for the design and optimisation of production lines, Tecnofiliere also produces all types of dies for pilot laboratory extrusion systems and for the execution of industrial tests. All requirements implicit in optimisation of the extrusion stage can thus be addressed with appropriate and innovative solutions.

TAURUS BLOCK FOR REINFORCED MASONRY
The decade-long partnership between the Stabila Group and the company Bampo, has given rise to Taurus, the block specifically designed for use in the first patented system for modular reinforced masonry. There are no special pieces, just a single block produced in a thickness of 25 cm and length of 49 cm which guarantees the perfect superimposition of the new radial wall geometry.
For the operation of shaping the innovative Taurus block, an important partnership has been established with Tecnofiliere, a company specialising in the design and construction of all the equipment required in the extrusion stage. In this specific case, model CF2 Evolution dies are used. The characteristics and shapes of the exits are all designed with a special drilled section (blue zone in the die templates in the photos) with optimal shapes for the creation of reinforced structures during the piece application stage.

BATIMATEC 2010 - the largest exhibition for the industry in Algeria
Tecnofiliere took part in BATIMATEC 2010, the international trade show of building construction materials and public works, which took place in Algiers, from 3 to 7 May.
Excellent results were achieved by Tecnofiliere, which, by its exhibition stand, was very glad to welcome its regular customers and to receive the visit of a large number of new potential customers.

ENERGY SAVING IN THE EXTRUSION STAGE
Extrusion, the most commonly used shaping process, exploits plastic deformation and allows for the production of pieces with a complex cross-section (pipes, profiles, etc.). Shaping is one of the crucial stages in the production of heavy clay products and ceramic materials in general. Although the die may appear to be a simple system, it is a fundamental element for the production of finished articles.
The wide-exit extrusion technique has revolutionised the production methods of brickworks as it allows for a considerable increase in hourly production capacity together with a high product quality standard and a significant reduction in specific energy consumption. The great innovation in the field of extrusion was the introduction of the exclusive TECNOFILIERE system, adopted on models CF1 and CF2, in which the introduction of an extrusion cone between the frame and the fixing plate allows the paste exit cross-section to be increased.
